One of the biggest concerns of our generation should be the actions of our nation in relation to the rest of the world. I am more than willing to aid any nation that needs help, so long as they respect the rights of the people, allow democratic election and permit a democratic economy. However, we cannot invade any nation based on a Jingoist, world-police philosophy, unless asked to aid the opposition of a repressive regime. If the people of a nation are not willing to fight for their own freedom, no amount of Jingo desire will bring about a just system. As for a democratic economy, I am not referring to a system where anyone can command other people, but one where the people democratically make the decisions of the workplace through councils and subcouncils.
